High Blood Pressure

Well, I have had a little scare the past 2 weeks. I got hired as a temporary at
U Of M out Patient Surgical Center. I love it! I work with the nicest people ever. I get complimented on a daily basis and it sure is good for the self esteem. I love to help our patients and it brings me great joy and happiness. I think I want to go back to school and become a nurse. Anyway as I said in the beginning of my blog. I had a little scare. I went to orientation at the U of M in Ann Arbor. It was very boring, Sat on my behind all day listening to lecture. Not stressful at all. When it was over I jumped in my car and began driving home. I had this horrible pain in my left shoulder and then I started feeling pain in my Chest around my Heart. I was scared and began to tear up. I called Jack and he told me to stop and check my blood pressure at CVS. It was a good Idea. He told me to Relax so I tried the best I could. I went into CVS and took my Blood Pressure 198/98. Panic time. I was scared I was going to have a stroke! I called my Doctor and told them what was going on and then went to the hospital. My Ekg was good but the gave me A IV and I hate them! Had to get poked twice. Then they gave me 4 baby aspirin and some kind of medication in the IV. Then the Doctor came in with 2 plans. I could go home but would need to follow up with Family Doctor ASAP or Stay and Have a Stress test the next day. I choose to go home and follow up with the Doctor. I went home. Called the home teachers for a blessing and followed up with the Doctor.
The Doctor recommended B/P medication and to see a Cardiologist. Tomorrow the big day. I suspect I will most likely end up with a stress test but don't know when. We shall see what happens. I kept thinking of My Cousin Kim, who has had 42 Heart Cath's and is on the Heart Transplant List. If she can go through all that she has been through. I certainly can be as brave as her! So, I am staying calm and trying not to worry. I really have a lot to be thankful for! I have a new Job and am getting paid a descent salary. I have a great family and 2 of the cutest GrandChildren ever. I also have the most amazing Inlaws whom I love very Much!
Can't wait for my first pay check so I can start helping Jack pay some bills. Oh, forgot to say our dryer broke so my Mom bought us a new one and the very next week our washer broke. My Home Teacher's Wife has been washing my Laundry for me until we can get a new one. She is pretty awesome to do that for us. Another blessing in our life. We are going to have them over for Thanksgiving it should be nice. I have a few pictures of Dee an Aleahna from Halloween. Hope you enjoy them! I tried to make a porcupine with my pumpkin. It looked better in person. I think my cupcakes turned out cute, and of course my little witch and Batman are the cutest!
